What are accommodations?

Accommodations are individualized supports that provide students with equal access to CCA programs, services, and learning environments.

Accommodations are determined through an interactive process that considers each student’s disability-related needs and the essential requirements of their courses and programs.

Apply for Accommodations

New to Accessibility Services?

Our goal is to work with you to identify reasonable accommodations that provide equitable access while supporting your success at CCA. Requesting accommodations is simple.

  1. Complete the online accommodation request.
  2. Submit documentation, if available.
  3. Meet with an Accessibility Services staff member.
  4. Receive your approved accommodations.
  5. Request accommodations each semester to keep them active and notify your instructors.

Renew Accommodations

Already registered?

Start here to renew your accommodations each semester. This helps ensure your accommodations are up to date and aligned with your current courses and schedule. Approved accommodations do not automatically carry
over each semester.

Once your renewal is submitted, you will receive your updated accommodation letter for the new semester.

Some accommodations may continue without changes, while others may be reviewed to ensure they still reflect your current access needs.

When you renew, you will:

  • Tell us whether your accommodations are meeting your needs and let us know about any changes.
  • Meet with an Accessibility Services staff member if you would like additional support or need to discuss changes.

Documentation Guidelines

Documentation helps us understand your disability-related access needs and determine appropriate accommodations. Documentation should come from a qualified professional and explain how your disability affects your access to learning.

No documentation yet? Start the process by requesting accommodations.
We’ll guide you through the next steps.
