Student Government Association

Student Government Association (SGA) serves as a representing body for the students at the Community College of Aurora, and acts as a bridge to college leadership in providing an enriched campus experience. SGA strives to advocate for student success by advancing CCA’s institutional outcomes of communication, critical thinking, cultural competence, career, and transfer readiness.

Fox Funds

Are you interested in increasing student engagement in your department or on campus? If so, consider applying for FOX FUNDS! If so, consider applying for FOX FUNDS! Fox Funds is a Student Government Association (SGA) sponsored initiative for students, departments, and employees to request funding for the development of student engagement opportunities that advance the institutional mission. - Students currently enrolled in classes
- Student Led Organizations
- Interest Groups
- Campus Departments
- Faculty, Instructors, and Staff
- Materials/Supplies for Student Led Organizations and Interest Groups
- Ex. Gaming club can request funds for board games
- Operational costs for student programming/events
- Ex. Speaker honorarium, supplies, food
- Conference registration, fees, flights, or hotel registration
- Materials for Student Led Organizations/Interest Groups: Can request up to $500 semesterly
- Operational costs for student programming/events: Can request up to $2000 semesterly
- Student travel, including conference registration, flights, hotel, per diem, etc.: Can request up to 80% of total cost of travel expenses for 3 active members and an advisor annually
- Complete Fox Funds request with all required documents:
- Description of funding request and how it advances the institutional mission
- Detailed itemized budget
- Create a 5-minute presentation to present to the Student Government Executive Board
- Attend Fox Funds Proposal Presentation Day  
- Once you have completed the proposal, you will sign up for a 30-minute timeslot. You will find the link at the end of the proposal submission.
- Emails will go out at the top of each semester for Fox Funds. Fox Funds Presentation Days are typically in September and February. Please email [email protected] for more information on Fox Funds!
