The Community College of Aurora partners with local governments and other
educational institutions to provide special admission opportunities. Depending on where you work, live, or go to school, you may have special access to CCA
programs at a lower cost.
The Commerce City Promise (C3 Promise) is a transformative partnership between Commerce City and the Community College of Aurora, offering residents no-cost access to short-term, high-value credential programs that lead directly to in-demand careers.
The scholarship provides full CCA tuition to new, full-time students who completed at least one concurrent enrollment course through CCA while attending an Aurora Public Schools high school.
In partnership with Cherry Creek Schools, the program offers teacher licensure through on-the-job training in classrooms with experienced educators. There are a variety of entry points into the Aspiring Educator Pathway for new teachers or other professionals who are looking to enter the teaching profession who do not already have a Bachelor’s degree in any area.

CCA partners with local high schools to allow eligible 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to take courses for college credit at their high school or on CCA campuses.
CCA offers general education courses that meet the degree requirements for the Community College of the Air Force’s associate in applied science (AAS). Active duty students at the Community College of the Air Force can take up to 15 credits through CCA.
CCA partners with the Colorado School of Mines to offer an innovative and streamlined approach to support CCA students’ pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at Colorado School of Mines. Students accepted to the Mines Academy at CCA will earn an Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degree at CCA before transferring to Mines to complete a bachelor’s degree. The transfer program includes the opportunity to earn guaranteed admission to any four-year degree program at Mines by successfully completing required coursework, maintaining a certain GPA, and participating in co-curricular events.
