Momentum Scholarship

Graduates in maroon caps and gowns smile and wave, adorned with leis and tassels. The mood is joyful and celebratory in bright sunlight.

If you’re a graduate from an Aurora Public Schools (APS) high school who has
taken Concurrent Enrollment classes with CCA, you have an exciting opportunity to continue your education at CCA tuition-free! Starting in the Fall 2026 semester, this automatic scholarship is granted to eligible students.
The priority deadline is Aug. 1.

Eligible Students

  • Must have completed a concurrent enrollment class with CCA while enrolled in an APS high school
  • Must be a 2026 graduate from an APS high school
  • Must be enrolled for the Fall 2026 semester at CCA
  • Must be enrolled full-time: at least 12 credit hours and no more than 18 credits each semester
  • Must be taking courses that are financial aid-eligible
  • Must be eligible for state or federal financial aid

How It Works

Eligible students automatically receive full tuition payment for their first certificate or associate’s degree through the Momentum Scholarship.

The scholarship is applied at the time of CCA’s census – around the 12th day of classes.

Recipients can continue receiving the scholarship while they pursue their first certificate or associate’s degree for up to three years as long as they remain eligible.

Complete the FAFSA and CASFA by Aug. 1

Completing the FAFSA and CASFA after the priority deadline (Aug. 1) will require students to set up a payment plan.
