Finish Strong Merit Scholarship

The Community College of Aurora (CCA) is providing the Finish Strong Merit Scholarship to graduating high school seniors who have matriculated to now full-time CCA students. Students will be identified and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis from point of class registration. No application is needed!

$2,000 Scholarship ($1,000/semester)

Will fund awarded students for one year, or 150% of program length – whichever comes first. Fall and Spring award ONLY.

Eligibility Criteria

Completed the 2024-2025 FAFSA/CAFSA
Maintain financial aid eligibility
12 – 30 college level credits completed upon official
high school graduation
Graduated high school in the 2023-2024 academic
year with 3.5 GPA in completed CCA CE courses
Must enroll in 12+ credits per semester with CCA upon
high school graduation (for fall/spring terms only)
Maintain 3.5+ GPA per semester
Must be enrolled in degree seeking program– Associate of Arts (A.A.)
– Associate of Science (A.S.)
– Associate of Engineering Science (A.E.S.)

After the scholarship and College Opportunity Fund (COF) are applied, students will pay $1,114.77 for each semester.*

*Tuition and fees are based on 12-credit resident, on-campus rates based on the 2023-2024 academic year.
