Physics AS
With a degree in Physics, students may pursue careers in a wide variety of areas such as, education, research and development, instrumentation, environmental studies, renewable energy, medical physics, finance, and data analysis, to name a few. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, overall employment of physicists across the nation is projected to grow by 5% between 2022-2032. In the Denver Metro area, there is continuous demand for Physicists owing to many research laboratories and small-to-mid range start-up ventures. A bachelor’s degree is essential for a career in Physics, and our Physics AS program provides the first two years of foundational coursework before students can transfer to a four-year institution. Salaries in most of the positions are above the median wages for all occupations.
