Graduation Application Information

BEFORE SUBMITTING A GRADUATION APPLICATION, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

Access your Degree Check! (Located under the Dashboard tab in MyCCA)

Step 1: Verify you are declared in the correct degree/certificate program(s) you want to apply for.

PLEASE NOTE: Graduation applications received with incorrect declared programs will be automatically denied. The re-declaration process takes time, and will cause severe time delays – putting you at risk of missing the graduation application deadline.

Step 2: Confirm you have completed/registered for the final classes/requirements for your degree/certificate program.

PLEASE NOTE: Graduation applications received with unmet academic requirements will be denied. Ensure all academic requirements, transfers, and registration are completed before applying to graduate. The transcript evaluation process takes time, and will cause severe delays in which you may miss the graduation application deadline.

Step 3: Applying for more than one degree or certificate?

PLEASE NOTE: Upon successful completion from a degree program, student’s Financial Aid status may change. Students should check with a Financial Aid Advisor to ensure future Financial Aid eligibility. Please contact our Financial Aid office with questions at (303) 360-4709.

I have accessed my Degree Check evaluation and verified that my declared program(s) are correct. I understand if I apply for graduation from a program not declared on my student record, my Graduation Application will be DENIED. I understand that if I apply for graduation and am missing credits/academic requirements, my Graduation Application will be DENIED. I understand that if my graduation application is DENIED, I will have to re-apply to graduate after the corrections have been made. I understand failure to perform these essential steps will cause severe time delays to my graduation processing.

Graduation Application Not Ready to Submit?

Before you submit your graduation application, CCA wants to ensure that your currently declared program(s) are accurate and that you have completed or registered for any courses required for completion. If you need assistance verifying your current programs or understanding your Degree Check report, please make an appointment to see your Guided Pathways Advisor. Once you have corrected and verified your declared programs and your Degree Check report, please submit an accurate graduation application.

** PLEASE NOTE that if you submit a graduation application without the correct degree or certificate on your student record at CCA, your application will be denied pending changes and you could miss the application deadline. Please review your information carefully.
