Steps To Graduate

Students completing a degree or certificate program at the end of the Spring 2024 semester MUST have a graduation application on record in order to be awarded!

Apply for Graduation

Complete the Graduation Application before the deadline to ensure it is processed with ample time. You will receive a confirmation or declination e-mail in your CCA Student E-mail inbox.

Please note: Upon successful completion of a degree/certificate program, student’s Financial Aid status may change. Students who wish to continue pursuing other degree/certificate programs should schedule an appointment with a Financial Aid Advisor to check their Financial Aid eligibility. Students can reach the Financial Aid office with questions at (303)-360-4709
Official transcripts will be updated within 3 weeks of semester’s end. Student’s official CCA Transcripts are the only acceptable documentation to represent a student’s completion of any academic program. Please wait to order official transcript until after your degree or certificate has been recorded on your student record.

Diplomas and certificates are mailed to the preferred diploma mailing address included in the graduation application within 8 weeks of the end of each semester. You can verify or update your diploma mailing address by emailing [email protected]. If no specified diploma mailing address is included, then the diplomas/certificates are sent to the current mailing address on file.
The Community College of Aurora has our annual Commencement Ceremony in May of each year. You should be receiving an email from the Division of Student Success regarding RSVPs, cap and gowns, graduation fairs, etc. in March of the graduating year.
