Mines Academy at CCA
CCA and Colorado School of Mines are partnering to offer an innovative and streamlined approach to support CCA students’ pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at Colorado School of Mines. Students accepted to the Mines Academy at CCA will earn an Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degree at CCA before moving on to Mines to complete a bachelor’s degree. The new transfer program includes the opportunity to earn guaranteed admission to any four-year degree program at Mines by successfully completing required coursework, maintaining a certain GPA and participating in co-curricular events. The Mines Academy at CCA is engineered to support your success through high-quality instruction and academic support services. The program includes:
- Support through resources like TRIO Student Support Services (for first-generation students, those with limited income, and students with disabilities), accessibility services, academic supports and more.
- High-quality math, science and engineering courses with qualified instructors.
- Access to Mines’ student success services, including Center for Academic Services and Advising, Financial Aid and the Mines Career Center.
- Access to resources and events at Mines such as sporting events, career and professional speakers and presentations.
- Peer support at CCA and Mines.
