Lowry Campus

CCA’s Lowry campus is unique to Denver community colleges as it was the original site for the U.S. Air Force Academy.  Many of the college’s most innovative and state-of-the-art programs call the Lowry Campus home. Supporting over 40% of the total CCA student population, this Denver community college campus houses EMT training and firefighter training. You’ll find top-tier computer science offerings, including cyber security training, web development training, and Cisco certification. You’ll also find courses that mirror those in Colorado art schools, such as web design, graphic design, and fine art courses. In addition, Lowry is the primary location for the college’s lab sciences, nursing pathway, business courses, diesel mechanic training, paralegal, and criminal justice. With such varied and important programs, Lowry offers a distinctive appeal among community colleges in Denver.

Accessible parking is on the north side of the building (5 spaces). An accessible entrance is on the south-west side of the building. There is a ramp off of 10th drive near the south-east corner of the building.

Bldg 901 – North Quad

Accessible parking is located on the North-West side of Building 901 (4 spaces) and opposite it on the South-East size of Building 905 (4 spaces). Accessible entrances are on the South-West sides of both buildings, and on either end of Building 903. (Note: Career Services has moved here, rooms 203-207)

Emergency Code Blue Phones

Purpose and Use
An Emergency Code Blue Phone is a safety device provided by the Colorado Community College System Lowry Campus. There are a total of 16 Code Blue phones placed in readily available areas on campus for easy accessibility.

Each Code Blue phone has a red emergency button, that when pressed, will automatically dial 911. Cooperation is essential to help maintain the integrity of the emergency code blue phone system. These phones should be used only for actual or perceived emergency situations.
To operate the phones, simply press the red button. 911 Dispatch will answer the call.

All emergency phones are tested for functionality on a regular basis. However, in the unlikely event there is an emergency phone malfunction, please contact the Lowry Security Department at 303-419-5557 to report the need for repairs.

False reporting or activation of a code blue station is a crime and will be handled accordingly.
