CCA Commencement

Congratulations CCA Foxes! You completed your certificate and/or degree program at the Community College of Aurora. We are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished! To celebrate this important milestone, we invite you to participate in the Spring 2025 CCA Commencement Ceremony.

What you need to know!

Commencement Information:

When: Saturday, May 10 at 9 a.m.

Where: Aurora Municipal Center, Great Lawn

Note: Every participating student must wear their cap and gown, which you can pick up for FREE at the CCA Graduation Fairs.

Graduation Fair Information:

Tuesday, April 1 at the Lowry campus in the Bergren Room from 12-3:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 3^rd at the CentreTech campus in the Rotunda from 4-7:00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend a Graduation Fair, you can pick up your cap and gown from the Welcome Desk located on the CentreTech Campus in the Admin Building.

The deadline to pick up your regalia is May 7, 2025, by 6:00 p.m.

Registration and Orientaiton

To participate in Commencement, 2025, you must register by Wednesday, April 23. Click HERE to register.

Please attend the Commencement Orientation. We will share important information about parking, expectations for the day-of, and more. Lunch will be provided!

When: Wednesday, May 7, 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Where: CentreTech Campus, Fine Arts Building, Room F100.

Decorate Your Cap!

Make a splash at commencement with your own decorated cap! You bring the cap, we bring the supplies. This is a great way to showcase your personality and your creativity.

When and Where:

May 5 at the CentreTech campus in the Rotunda from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
May 6 at the Lowry campus in the Bergren Room from 2-4:00 p.m.

Commencement FAQ's

Pick up your cap and gown at the Welcome Desk on the CTC campus in the Admin Building. You can also collect your regalia at the Grad Fairs and Cap Decorating Events.

IMPORTANT: The deadline to pick up your regalia is May 7, 2025 @6:00 p.m.

Grad Fairs:
- Tuesday, April 1: Lowry Campus, Bergen Room (12:00-3:00 pm)
- Thursday, April 3: CTC Campus, Rotunda (4:00-7:00 pm)
Cap Decorating:
- Monday, May 5: CenterTech Campus, Rotunda (12:30-2:30 pm)
- Tuesday, May 6: Lowry Campus, Bergen Room (2:00-4:00 pm)
