Programming AAS
With this degree, career paths will vary but may include entry-level or apprenticeship positions for careers in software development, such as application development, database user interface and query, and object-oriented software development. The U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics predicts that overall employment web development and software development occupations is projected to grow faster than the average. The median annual wage for software and web developers is greater than the national average for all occupations. This degree provides students with the skills in project management and systems analysis and design. Students will design, develop, build, troubleshoot and test computer software programs in different programming languages. Programming will range from simple business programs to complex web applications.
