Requirements for Testing
- A valid military issued photo ID
- Base access to the Buckley SFB
- A CLEP Registration Ticket, (if you are taking a CLEP exam.)
Testing at Buckley Space Force Base
CLEP and DSST exams are offered at the Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB), formerly Buckley Air Force Base (BAFB), for active-duty military members, their spouses, and Department of Defense civilians. Find out if you are eligible for DANTES funding.
Schedule an Appointment
Appointments are available every Thursday at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Public Speaking exams are offered at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Appointments are usually available every Thursday at 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.
Cost
CLEP and DSST exams are free to active-duty military members during their first test attempt.
Retest Policy
Test takers are required to wait 90 days to retest for individual CLEP subject exams and 30 days to retest for individual DSST subject exams.
Retest exams cost:
- CLEP $ 89
- DSST $85
A credit card is required to pay for these fees. NOTE: DSST does not accept Discover Cards.
Test Results
CLEP results are available at the end of the exam. A printed copy of your results will be provided for you. Scores are automatically sent to the university or college, that you previously selected.
Test results for the CLEP College Composition test are available 2-3 weeks after testing. Scores are emailed from CollegeBoard.
DSST results are available at the end of the exam. Scores are automatically sent to the university or college, that you previously selected. Scores are available for printing by accessing your DSST account.
