Blair Lee

Executive Director of Strategic Communications & Alumni Engagement

Blair Lee serves as the Community College of Aurora’s (CCA)  Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Alumni Engagement. Within this capacity, he serves as the college’s Public Information Officer and oversees CCA’s community affairs, marketing, digital strategy, communications, and presidential messaging. Mr. Lee is recognized as a creative and authentic communications leader who is known for delivering innovative and transformational strategies that deliver meaningful results. Prior to joining CCA’s Executive Team, Blair led communication and outreach initiatives at Texas Southern University (TSU), one of the largest historically black colleges and universities in the state of Texas.

Committed to removing barriers for those seeking social and economic mobility through the vehicle of education, Blair brings compliance, communication management, and government relations experience to CCA’s efforts. Continually focused on bringing the CCA brand to life, transforming the user experience for prospective students, Blair’s project oversight ranges in scope from campus revitalization initiatives, to thinking innovatively on unique ways to better communicate CCA’s story to the masses. Blair has worked on a number of mayoral and congressional campaigns throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Mr. Lee also holds an appointment as an adjunct professor within TSU’s School of Public Affairs. Blair is a proud two-time alumnus of the University of Baltimore earning a master’s degree in public administration and public policy as well as a bachelor’s in digital communication and public relations. Additionally, he is currently pursuing a PhD within the School of Education at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
