All-Faculty Meeting
Thursday, April 21.
CCA Regular and Adjunct Faculty,
The All-Faculty Meeting is Thursday, August 21st, in the Forum in the Fine Arts Building on the CentreTech campus, at 5:30 p.m. (but come at 5:00 p.m. for dinner!). This meeting is required of all regular and adjunct faculty (adjunct faculty will be paid $35 for attending both the all-faculty meeting and each department's beginning of semester meeting).
Typically, we end the all-faculty meeting by 6:45 p.m. at the latest, so that departments can meet at 7:00 p.m. This year, we ask that department meetings begin at 7:15 p.m. so that we'll have time for an important training with Dr. John Nicoletti, a police psychologist in the Denver-metro area for more than 25 years. Over the last ten years, Dr. Nicoletti's private practice has expanded into the field of violence and violence prevention. After years of work with national corporations and government agencies, such as the United Postal Service, United Airlines, NASA, Johns Manville, and the U.S. Department of Energy, Dr. Nicoletti has established himself as a national expert in workplace violence. He was an invited speaker at the 10th World Conference in Disaster Management in 2000 in Ontario, Canada, and was a keynote speaker at the 2001 National Students Assistance Conference in Florida. We are exceptionally fortunate to have Dr. Nicoletti come to CCA for a violence prevention training with us at our meeting Thursday evening.
